Ode to LeBaron

Let us observe a moment of silence....It is a sad, sad day in the heartland. Bidding adieu to an old dear friend is never easy. One that started her journey with me when I was a junior in high school. My friend traveled with me to class each day, to play practice on fall nights and to my first pharmacy job at the hospital. She stood by me on my first day of college and finished with me on that final day, six years later. Back and forth, she traversed the prairies and the mountainous regions with nary a complaint. She withstood the challenge of freezing winter mornings with windchills below 40 and hot summer days above 90. She went with me on my honeymoon, with blue sticker scars to prove it. Pharmacy rotations and a new job, not a problem for her. She endured. Now her home is with hundreds of others like her, in a metal graveyard:( I want to say this in closing;
Thank you dear friend. You went a long ways with me baby!

Oh Cari Ann, it made me cry all over again!! I know she's down there in that metal grave yard weeping as she thinks of you in your little house wishing she was there taking you to work each day! She was a good little car! Mom

Such hystronics over a car!! :-)
She was a dependable ol' gal, that is for sure, and I remember when you bought it, that it had a whole lot of miles racked up already then, but miles didn't bother this buggy, did it? Fun post!!
